About Us

Niche Health Project (Cork) CLG (NICHE) is a community health initiative working within Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill and surrounding areas of Cork city to improve health, well-being and quality of life.

NICHE is core funded and supported by the HSE Cork North Community Work Department. It receives additional funding from the HSE and other sources for specific projects. Partnerships with other organisations and individuals provide non-monetary contributions, such as: expertise, time, skills, venues or catering, which supports our work.

NICHE is a company limited by guarantee (CLG). It’s board of management is made up of representatives of the local community, HSE, UCC and independent members.

NICHE Vision

All people in Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill and surrounding areas can live full and healthy lives.

NICHE Mission

To involve the local community in meaningful partnerships with NICHE and others to develop actions to improve and sustain health and well-being outcomes.
